| New Features in phpBB3ToNuke 3.0.6

AcydBurn, who is the present leader of phpBB3 development team, posted some new features that will be included phpBB3 3.0.6. From last weekend, they had begun 3.0.6 upgrading project.
These on-going features are included as default features in phpBB3 3.0.6. The new phpBB3 3.0.6 seems to make old bbtonuke and phpBB2 users disappoined because all features have been used in such old versions.
All new features will be included in phpBB3ToNuke 3.0.6. For this, our team, as we contributed to phpBB3 dev community, have contact with them to discuss.

Exempt group leader permissions for groups

Proudly, a new porting project has been launched: one of the most popular blog software, WordPress for multiuser. The purpose of this porting project is to provide Enterprise NUKE with professional and enterprise level of blog module by replacing Jounral module with Professionally Fledged WordPress Blog. The present poritng project anchored at the following Community Sections:
- Devleopmental Logs and History
- Discussion and Suggestion
- Devleopmental Logs and History
The present porting project has three chronological goals as follows:
- short term goals: bridging and integrating WordPress Blog
- mid-term goals: full-integration of WordPress Blog as a NUKE module
- long-term goal: Replacement of Journal module with WordPress Blog

| Ex-Microsoftie- Free Software Will Kill Redmond

CIO - Bill Gates probably will not sing the praises of Keith Curtis, a programmer with Microsoft for 11 years who's now left the fold and written a book about why the Redmond way will fail. Oh yeah, Curtis is not afraid to speak his mind as a Linux guru, either.
The mantra Curtis repeats throughout his book "After the Software Wars": proprietary software is holding us back as a society.
In the book, Curtis says that while proprietary software made Microsoft one of the most successful companies of all time, it's a model destined to fail because it doesn't let software programmers cooperate and contribute, and thus stifles innovation.
Curtis did programming work on Windows, Office and research at Microsoft and never actually used Linux, he says, until he quit his job in late 2004. The ensuing years have made him a Linux fanatic, and he is convinced that free, open-source software is technically superior. As long as Microsoft and its proprietary model dominate, Curtis says, we will live in "the dark ages of computing."

phpBB3ToNuke Converters Released

Two converters were released for phpBB3ToNuke: a converter of bbtonuke to phpBB3ToNuke and a converter of phpBB2 to phpnuke with phpBB3ToNuke. This converters are included in phpBB3ToNuke 3.0.5 – Full – RC 2.
&nbp;With the first converter, phpBB3ToNuke will your bbtonuke forum data to phpBB3ToNuke. This is a critical feature that enables all phpnuke users to facilitate a new engine for phpnuke.
All phpBB2 forum boards which have their own user-accounts and data will be absorbed into phpnuke with no hassle. Using the second converter, phpbb2 converter, all user account info and user posts will be transferred into phpnuke that employs phpBB3ToNuke. Another noticeable feature of this converter is to migrate phpBB2 attachments implemented by Acyd Burn who is the head leader of phpBB3 development team.

Proud announcement on one of the top priority project goes uncessantly.
With the great help of beta testers group that several couples of phpnuke volunteers participated, Release Candidate of phpBB3ToNuke is in the public. Even if still RC 2 is only for beta testers group, the previous RC 1 of phpBB3ToNuke 3.0.4 is released in public.
The release candidate 2 is supposed to be the final test beta of phpBB3ToNuke 3.0.5 which includes full package as is described in the following feature lists:
Two default theme-pack for phpnuke nuke and phpBB3ToNuke synchronized themes - prosilver and subsilver2.
Two theme-packs are smart resizing of blocks and relatively faster than other heavy graphic-based phpnuke themes.
